Pulling it All Together

Your role in student success is critical. You contribute to your district’s educational mission by making sure that all programs—including food service—support the academic process. You understand the importance of S.M.I.L.E. (School Meals Improve Learning Environments), and how the power of a good, solid breakfast and lunch program cannot be underestimated when it comes to considering the whole well-being of each of your students. With issues such as food insecurity, obesity and malnourishment on the rise, we must all work together to ensure that students are receiving the most well-balanced, nutrient-dense meals while in school. When a child is properly nourished and nutritionally energized, his or her academic potential becomes unlimited. Together, we can give your students the foundation they need to succeed in school and in life.

How can Whitsons support you in providing a high quality school breakfast and lunch program that improves your learning environment? As your partner, we are committed to your program’s success, and the success of your students.

bullet   We offer a program in nutritional compliance with all governmental regulations and agency recommendations, including the NSLP, NSBP, USDA, HHFKA and MyPlate.
