The Enhancing Life Program represents the Whitsons Way by connecting our local teams to their communities to make a positive difference and fulfill our promise to treat everyone like family.
It’s about fostering a sense of community and hospitality in all That we do.
PARNTERSHIP FOR COMMUNITY DRIVES
We are passionate about helping those in need in our communities. Our teams members lead drives to directly benefit the communities they serve by collecting and donating in-kind items to local non-profit organizations or in support of existing client initiatives as part of our series of designated Enhancing Life Program monthly initiative.
Coats for Communities
A coat drive in partnership with the national organization One Warm Coat. In the first two years of the initiative, 25 location teams donated 1,284 coats to local non-profit organizations to help people in need in their communities stay warm during the winter.
Hunger and Homelessness
Awareness Week
An awareness and volunteer initiative sponsored by the National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness. Participating teams donated 556 full Thanksgiving meals to families in need in their communities, as well as non-perishable food items to local food pantries.
Enhancing Life
for the Holidays
Participating teams collected and donated more than 500 gifts to donate to local toy and gift drives being held in their communities.
Supporting Community Events
Onsite team members support community-wide events in many ways, from joining volunteer efforts directly to providing refreshments and food for volunteers. From charity events to celebration ceremonies, they take pride in being there to participate and celebrate in ways that bring people together and enhance the experience for all.
