Always Ready to Respond

As concerns over food insecurity have grown across the nation, Whitsons has dedicated resources and shared expertise focused solely on the provision of disaster and emergency food relief during times of crisis and as an ongoing resource for those in need. Within hours after the World Trade Center attacks on September 11th, we were contacted by the Salvation Army to provide food to thousands of rescue workers at Ground Zero, serving meals 24 hours per day for 9 months, serving 4 million meals.
