When made correctly, these vitamin-packed veggies have a delicious nutty flavor that many love. Part of the cruciferous family, Brussels sprouts are known for their carotenoids, which promote eye health, and a sulfur-based compound that helps to prevent illnesses, such as cancer, heart disease and more.
