Whitsons was proud to sponsor the Meals on Wheels Chicago Celebrity Chef Ball, an incredible evening celebrating community, compassion, and culinary excellence. More than 50 top chefs—including Michelin, James Beard, and Bib Gourmand awardees came together to create unforgettable tasting experiences for a great cause.

The Meals on Wheels Chicago mission is to help ensure Chicago seniors and individuals with disabilities benefit from programs that improve their quality of life and maximize independence. Since 1987, Meals on Wheels Chicago raises funds and awareness to support home meal deliver to eligible senior citizens and people with disabilities. Last year, their work included 4.7 million meals provided through meal delivery and pantry programs, helping approximately 22,000 seniors.  They also distributed five tons of food at every Nourish Chicago Pantry, provided 17,000 meals to dogs and cats in the Nourishing Pets Program, and performed 2,882 volunteer hours providing services and social connection to seniors.

Whitsons team members Jerry Dickman, Michelle Rothermich, Paul Burnup, Craig Whitcomb, and Cindi Lee Evans were honored to attend and represent Whitsons at this inspiring event.
