Brooklyn Culinary Center Earns Outstanding Score of 98 On SQF Audit
Whitsons is thrilled to announce that our Brooklyn Culinary Center has successfully passed the Safe Quality Food (SQF) audit on February 6, 2025, achieving an impressive score of 98/100! This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time the facility has earned SQF certification.
Brooklyn now joins our Islandia Culinary Center, which achieved a 99 SQF score last summer, further reinforcing our commitment to food safety and quality excellence.
What Does SQF Certification Mean?
Being SQF certified means that our facility meets a globally recognized standard for food safety and quality management. It assures our clients that we are dedicated to producing safe, high-quality products that comply with all relevant food safety regulations.
A Team Effort
Our Brooklyn team celebrates their top score!
“I’m incredibly proud of the Brooklyn team, who have dedicated over a year of preparation, hard work, and commitment to reach this milestone,” said Dora Zhang, Vice President of FSQA. “Their tireless effort and focus on food safety and quality have truly paid off, and this achievement is a testament to their determination and expertise.”
This achievement reflects Whitsons’ ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and quality.
