Mango Madness!

Mangoes are one of the most popular fruits in the world. Mangoes provide 100% of your daily vitamin C, 35% of your daily vitamin A and 12% of your daily fiber. More fresh mangoes are eaten around the world every day than any other fruit. Try some Indian fusion by adding a traditional mango lassi to your ordinary meal with our recipe below! Delicious!

RECIPE: Mango Lassi

Ingredients:
2 cups plain, low-fat yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
1⁄2 cup whole milk
1⁄4 cup sugar (or sugar substitute)
1⁄2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and cut into 1” pieces, plus more for garnish
Vanilla ice cream or heavy cream, for topping (optional)

Directions:

Purée yogurt, ice, milk, sugar, vanilla, and mangoes in a blender until smooth. Pour into glasses and top with 1–2 tbsp. ice cream or heavy cream if you like; garnish with additional mango.
