On May 7, 2025, Glendale proudly participated in the LeadingAge Connecticut EXPO, a signature event for aging services professionals across the state. This annual gathering, hosted by LeadingAge Connecticut, brought together mission-driven provider organizations committed to improving the lives of older adults and individuals with disabilities. From home care agencies to life plan communities, the EXPO was a celebration of innovation, service, and community in aging services. Among the event’s standout moments, Glendale was honored in the prestigious EXPO Superlative Category, selected from among the 130 vendors for our outstanding booth concept:

Our booth was designed to reflect our new guiding philosophy: Rooted in Care, Driven by Hospitality—a statement that not only defines our services but underlines our purpose. The booth’s central theme, Ripples of Flavor, was a sensory and symbolic experience. It communicated how compassionate care and exceptional hospitality can create ripples of positive impact across communities. Whether in culinary innovation or personalized support, our commitment begins with a single thoughtful act and radiates outward to touch the lives of residents, families, and care teams.
- Our goal is to highlight our holistic approach to enhancing the dining and lifestyle experiences in residential communities through customized food service solutions, inspired hospitality, and a deep-rooted commitment to care.
- Attendees sampled a variety of thoughtfully curated food items designed for residential care settings, including seasonal small bites, nutrient-dense comfort foods, and elevated dining options tailored to older adult preferences.
- Glendale’s warm and knowledgeable team—Steve Brustein, Matthew Peirce, and John DeCourcy—greeted attendees, answered questions, and shared how Glendale is revolutionizing hospitality in aging services.
The creativity, purpose, and execution of the Ripples of Flavor concept earned Glendale a well-deserved Superlative Award—a recognition of excellence among a diverse and competitive field of vendors.
