Great Food and Great Role Models at Ashland Elementary
Ashland Elementary School in New Hampshire recently turned daily school lunch into something truly special with a Lunch with Leadership event that blended community connection, positive role models, and great food. The school was proud to welcome Chief of Police Will Ulwick and Officer Nick Raymond, who joined students and staff for lunch and meaningful conversation in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
The event was made even more impressive by the dedication behind the scenes. Ashland Elementary’s dining program is led by just one on-site team member, General Manager Katherine Zinanni, who successfully organized and executed event with support from traveling culinarian Lisa Martel. Together, Katherine & Lisa transformed the cafeteria into a welcoming space centered around a custom burger bar that allowed students to build their perfect meal.
Beyond the delicious food, students received fun law enforcement stickers and the opportunity to interact directly with local leaders who serve their community every day. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful exchanges that made the lunchtime experience truly memorable.
This Lunch with Leadership event is a powerful example of how passion, teamwork, and commitment can create lasting impact, even with a small team. Thanks to Katherine’s leadership, Lisa’s culinary support, and the presence of inspiring community role models, Ashland Elementary proved that great food and genuine connection go hand in hand.
